After the Mont-Tremblant race week-end, I could not wait for the Montreal Grand Prix my home town race to start, as I was more confident with my new Honda Civic and my driving ability…The week-end started on Friday morning with a practice session, I was very close to the front runners and poised to make a good impression to my new sponsors and pay homage to the hard work my crew has put in to get here. In the afternoon qualifying session, I improved my time but being blocked by the car #20 for 5 laps, I gave him some space to cool my tires and brakes but and again cached him after 2 laps, finally he pushed me off track, at the end of the session I was happy with my 10th position but that off track excursion cost me a 10 sec. penalty witch put me 16th on the starting grid for the Saturday’s race… non the less I was driving the tires off the car and lifting the car on two wheels at almost every corner.
